What is krill oil?
Krill oil is a red viscous liquid extracted from Antarctic krill. Krill oil is rich in Omega-3 (DHA/EPA), Choline, astaxanthin and other active ingredients. While traditional fish oil capsules have triglycerides to give your body Omega-3, a large portion of the Omega-3 fats in krill oil can be found in the form of molecules called phospholipids. Phospholipids can be easier to absorb than other types of fats, and they let our bodies absorb the nutritional benefits more naturally. Some fish oil supplements also come as concentrates, which has the Omega-3 in a more synthetic form, making it less easily absorbed by our bodies. Our krill oil capsules are faster acting than traditional fish oil capsules, and allow our bodies to absorb the Omega-3 it needs faster.
